Default DIY- Replacing the Blower Motor on a '05 Park Avenue

Hello there!

I would like to share a tidy and concise Do-It-Yourself guide on replacing the blower motor on a 2005 Buick Park Avenue. I hope that this guide will benefit some forum member in need of a solid write-up!

1) Remove the right side sound insulator in the passenger compartment.

2) Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.

3) Disconnect the blower ventilation tube from the module.

4) Remove the blower motor screws.

5) Remove the blower motor from the housing.

6) Install the blower motor into the housing. (see 'To install' for directions)

To install:

1) Install the blower motor screws and tighten to 15 inch lbs. (1.5 Nm).

2) Install the blower ventilation tube to the module.

3) Connect the blower motor electrical connector.

4) Install the right side sound insulator.
