Default how to clean MAF

Is there a good way to clean a MAF sensor on a 3800 6 cyl without damage to sensor ?

Remove the sensor from the vehicle and use a dedicated Mass Air Flow cleaner to spray it clean. Just be careful not to get right in there when you spray it. Hold the can about a foot away, the wires are delicate.




While you're at it vacuum and wipe out the air filter housing and inspect your air filter to insure it's clean and take the MAF cleaner on a towel and wipe out the intake air tubes.
