2011 Airbag deployment.
Hello. Please give an opinion on this. I hit a deer going 57 mph.
Four bags deployed, engine shut off and the haz lights turned on. Sounds great except
we were still traveling 50 mph on a two lane hwy heading into rush hour traffic.
Couldn't see, had no power steering, power brakes and operable airbags.

Back to 2015 here. I'd start by buying a new car. Deer will usually flip over and hit windshield also. Apparently the idea is to shut down/stop as quickly as possible, both brakes and steering should still work but with more difficulty. Think reflexes would of taken over with limited power. Poor Deer, many close calls myself.
Remember crossing the Tapanzee (sp.?) Bridge, NYC in a deluge.... Was in middle lane and 2 tractor trailers passed me on either side at the same time. I was underwater, held on wheel, let off gas and hoped I didn't veer off. Way lucky that night, think they were coordinated lol.
