Default 1980 Skylark "New Member" Please help!

I recently got my grandfathers old car and brought it home. I have plans of fixing it up and using it as a extra vehicle rather than letting it rot. He bought another one identical before he died. The only thing wrong with the other is the motor is gone. So, I have a parts car for the most part.

1980 Buick Skylark V6 4 door

It was sitting for about 7 years. It ran fine when it was parked except for a line leaking. I put new tires on it, replaced the battery, and it cranked. I towed it home 4 hours away. More like a 5 hour towing ride. It didn't seem to be pumping oil into the motor. I thought the valves may be clogged. Instead of dealing with that, I just changed the oil. It no longer smokes, but doesn't seem to still be running right. I am doing spark plugs and wires tomorrow. I am planning on running the gas out or draining it if possible. I put the emergency brake on when I towed it. It seems as if it got stuck or something. I need to address that.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I have used forums before, but never needed one as bad as now. Hopefully this one will be as beneficial as the ones in the past.
