Recently, my front brakes started scraping but I had to use the car to get parts and do a couple of errands before I could work on it. In the process of driving, and to get slowed down before I braked, I was shifting down and back. I pulled into my garage and proceeded to put new rotors and pads in. I backed out of the garage into the street and put the car in drive and the car jolted a couple of times before it evened out. It doesn't happen all of the time but most of the time. It doesn't happened when I put the car in (3) and start off and then to drive.
