I hear you and the point is well taken, but being on fixed income, I don't have much choice and run the risk. Hopefully when I take things apart today, I will find a bare or broken wire or something. I'll advise.

The first thing I did and it should be was to check the connector at the cam sensor only to find that it wash't pushed on all the way to lock. I pushed the connector all the way on until it locked, hooked the battery back up and started the car. The light didn't come on right away as it usually did, but it did. I shut the car off and restarted and the light did not come back on and I took it up the block and it still hasn't come back on so, I think I made progress and will go from there. I'm not claiming a "solved" yet but I believe I made progress and my confidence in the car is "up" again.

After a while, the check engine light came on again and I had another scan done and it showed the three codes that I reported originally. PO321, PO341 & PO1361. I disconnected the battery and proceeded to check for broken or interrupted wires (3) coming from the connector at the cam sensor going to the ICM connector and there were no problems with that. I left the battery cable disconnected overnight and put everything back together and took a ride. The light didn't come on but here is what happens: I get these hesitations like the engine is going to shut down.when I accelerate and see out of the corner of my eye that the dash lights come on; bat, oil, etc. but go off again when the car re-engages. The light doesn't come back on, but I have the feeling that it will.
