Re: 2002 Buick Rendezvous. After filling the tank my car would not start. Lasttime after sitting for several minutes the engine started with no further problems. TodayI filled the tank and tried everything I could think of for over an hour. At first I thought it must be flooded but after letting it sit for over 5 minutes I would think it would correct itself. Still would not start and had to be towed. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Had the car towed to my mechanic. He think it is the fuel pump. Will let you know the final results.

That could be one of the worst scenario. I''d rather try a name brand to avoid any funny businesses. Try to check the engine control sensor. This actually controls the amount of gas to the injectors. Hope it will fix the problem.

I already had the fuel pump replaced and it was not cheap! Will remember this info in the future.

Thanks for your input.

Hadn''t thought about the hot/cold aspect. I usually get gas when the gauge is down to 1/2 so shouldn''t have that problem. Thanks for the reply.
