Default Electrical problem

I have a 95 Buick century with the 3.1. All of a sudden the headlights, brake lights, dash lights, horn, power door locks, power seats, rear defrost, and the memory for the stereo quit working. Checked the fuses and all are good. I've never worked on one of these before so not sure whats going on or what to do next. If anybody has had this problem before or can tell me what happened I would appreciate it. This is my only car so I need to fix it ASAP.

I found a fuseable link that was melted so I fixed it and all works again.

Just checking a FUSE doesn't tell the whole story... have you "probed" the various suspect fuse "sockets" to see if voltage is present? Power distribution to the fuse box is where I would begin looking (i.e., fusible links and grounds)... then there's a variety of "connections" and "wiring" and "switches" and "relays" (for both power and ground), and "electronic controls" such as the "BCM" (body control module) - any/all of which could point to a common cause for several or all of your symptoms.
