Ok i just bought a 99 Regal and was filling up the tank so I decided to check the oil also.
I noticed that when I pulled out the dipstick there was some steam/smoke coming out of the dipstick hole?? I know that the car was hot but this seems a little extensive. i checked it again this morning after an hour long drive and it did the same thing just not as much. The temperature gauge both times read about 1/8 below 1/2 way.
I could just be being parinoid as I just bought the car but I still would like your inputs.
