Hi.

I just picked up a 1969 4 door Buick Electra 225 Limited. The car runs great and body is straight with very little rust. I am trying to get some ideas and information about this car.

I have done some research and I can not find much on the 4 door limited. It has "limited" emblem on the vinyl top with some Buick emblem above that. I am guessing the only difference is the power options on the inside. I can not find anything. It has the 430 v8 motor. The car is all original with numbers matching. It has 132,000 miles on it. Vinyl interior. It turns right over and floats down the street. I am wondering if this car is worth the time and effort.

It needs some work. New Paint (Factory Paint still on it), Front Seat has hole in the vinyl (other than that inside is very clean and intact), all electronics work, needs new vinyl top. I am sure motor could use a tune up. I have not noticed any major leaks under the hood.

Thanks for your honesty and help in advance.

They were one of the best cars Buick made. Remember driving them. There are some guys on this site that have restored some of the older Buicks and they are truly collector items. There is no ride like a Buick ride!!
