Hey guys


My name is Tom and I own an 01 modded GTP. I have been having some problems with my car so I decided to fix it under warranty and sell the car. I wanted another car with the same engine and the Regal GS is it. I wanted to find out if everything about these two cars is the same besides the body. Do they have the same trannys? Gearing? Can I install performance shift for the Regal and so on. Any info would be great...Hopefully I'll own a Regal GS soon.....

i do not know for sure, but i believe that they are...your best bet, call a GM parts department, and ask them to cross reference the transmission number..i think that it is the same.

I would agree with Patrick I would think that it is all the same. I do believe the Reagal's suspesion is smoother riding than a grand prix. Buickare smoother riding than the better handling Pontiac. All they do is change the strut valving because the suspension looks the same.
