i just bought a new gm goodwrench 350 and am planning to put it into my
85 buick regal. the regal has a th200-4r tranny in it and i was wondering if
the power the 350 will make will be too much for it? i was also wondering if
the rear end could hold up to the power the new engine will make? also if
anyone out there has a goodwrench 350 and has and comments or areas of
concern i should know about?

thanks to all for so much help!!!

imop, if you spent good money on aNEW motor, why half-*** it with the old trans? the GR of the th200 wouldnt be that ideal either. id suggest a th 400, 350, or 700. depending on what you want to do with the car, street, strip, etc.

not extremely helpful, butthis may answer some of your questions.
