Is there a recall on rims? Is this problem common? What should I do to solve it and prevent it occuring on other rims?


On my third trip back to my tire repair guy because of a frustrating slow leak, he finally ground thebubbling chromeoff thetire bead edge of the chrome plated aluminum rims. He said I can expect to see the exterior visible chrome start to peel.


For two weeks the tireis finally holding its pressure.
